Lake Thompson has a phenomenal post spawn bite starting about mid month of May. The shallow bite remains strong well into July then returns end of August.

LAKE SHARPE

Lake Sharpe is in a class of its own, having many 50-100 catch and release days. The state  landings on Lake Sharpe are top notch, well protected with coves, shade and a majestic scene.

I highly encourage early bookings as May and June are always the first to fill out. Large groups are welcome.

LAKE OAHE

Lake Oahe can be a special place to fish during the months of June and July.

If we limit out before noon, we'll go back into a bay and go for cats and pike.

LODGING

Lodging arrangements can be made at Wheatlands Inn, Onida SD or Fort Pierre Motel, Ft. Pierre SD.

Crappie & Gills : Beautiful & Secluded Lakes around the Sioux Falls, SD area

Join me on beautiful and secluded lakes in the southeast corner of South Dakota - cliffs and trees surround these majestic lakes. It's a quiet place to relax and enjoy the fishing and the scenery. Rolling hills and trees surround this majestic lake. A scene out of a Minnesota or a Wisconsin lake without the boat traffic. 30+ feet in the center channel and the lake is spring-fed. The fillets of fish in the lake are casper white and melt in your mouth bread buttered.

All bait, tackle, rods and reels and the cleaning and bagging of your catch is provided.

• 3 anglers: $525

TAG BOAT RATES

Large groups are always a lot of fun for me so I welcome and encourage tag boats on large group bookings. Feel free to inquire for more information. $200 per day per boat.
