2025 Lake Thompson Day Rate
Lake Thompson and the surrounding glacial lakes have a phenomenal pre and post walleye spawn bite in the months of May and June. The shallow bite remains strong well into July then returns end of August, and then we have a great perch bite going from July to the end of September.
Large groups welcomed, additional guide boats available.
Bookings with veterans and children under the age of 18 receive a $25 discount per booking.
All multiple day bookings on eastern glacial lakes from July - November receive a $25/day discount.
Lake Sharpe is in a class of its own, having many 50-100 catch and release days. The state landings on Lake Sharpe are top notch, well protected with coves, shade and majestic scenery.
I highly encourage early bookings as May and June are always the first to fill out. Large groups welcomed, additional guide boats available.

July and August: During these two months, the 15" walleye minimum restriction is lifted. Fun, quick days filling out by noon beating the heat.
Lake Oahe can be a special place and it's where my guiding career started back in 2004 when I started helping my dad who started oahewalleye.com back in the mid-90s.
Mid-May through the end of July is premier walleye fishing with many days filling out before noon. Oahe catfish can be had back in the bays should we limit out early.

Crappie & gills : Beautiful & Secluded Lakes around the Sioux Falls, SD area
Join me on beautiful and secluded lakes in the southeast corner of South Dakota - cliffs and trees surround these majestic lakes. It's a quiet place to relax and enjoy the fishing and the scenery. Rolling hills and trees surround this majestic lake. A scene out of a Minnesota or a Wisconsin lake without the boat traffic. 30+ feet in the center channel and the lake is spring-fed. The fillets of fish in the lake are casper white and melt in your mouth bread buttered.
All bait, tackle, rods and reels and the cleaning and bagging of your catch is provided.
For lodging recommendations, please inquire.
(All rates subject to sales and tourism tax.)
Large groups are always a lot of fun for me so I welcome and encourage tag boats on large group bookings. Feel free to inquire for more information. $200 per day per boat.
