Lake Thompson and the surrounding glacial lakes have a phenomenal pre and post walleye spawn bite in the months of May and June. From mid-May to well into October, there is a great panfishing bite angling for perch, crappie and bluegill on the eastern glacial lakes in South Dakota.

Lake Sharpe is in a class of its own, having many 50-100 catch and release days. The state landings on Lake Sharpe are top notch, well protected with coves, shade and majestic scenery.
I highly encourage early bookings as May and June are always the first to fill out. Large groups welcomed, additional guide boats available.

July and August: During these two months, the 15" walleye minimum restriction is lifted. Fun, quick days filling out by noon beating the heat.
Mid-May through the end of July is premier walleye fishing with many days filling out before noon. Oahe catfish can be had back in the bays should we limit out early.
Your day of fishing starts around 7:30-8 AM and ends about 4 pm. Should we limit on one species before 4 pm, we will search for others.
