Lake Sharpe has always been one of my favorite playgrounds going for walleye, because I know Smallmouth Bass will be in the picture.
2018 was another stellar year on Lake Sharpe for hooking into some Monster Smallmouth Bass, while going for Walleye. We released many females this year in that 15-19 inch class.
In the Spring and Fall, one of my favorite looks near weed beds, is a Plain Hook with a bead and tipped with a minnow or crawler.
Lindy rigs or long lining bobbers are very productive. Sometimes keeping it simple can be the way to go.
