2019 Spring Fishing Report

Though the bite was hit and miss, we released and had many that came unbuttoned mid way up. The males have started milking, but both males and females were still staging out in waters of 15-19 ft. We found a couple males in that 13-15, but for the most part 15-19. Morning water temp was 43º. Presenting slow, with light tackle. We also had to keep our eyes open for floating timber and debris. As the water temp climbs, look for fish to go shallow.
I look forward to returning to Sharpe and Thompson here in a couple weeks, as the bite will continue to only get better. If you're looking to get on the water in May or June, I only have a few available dates May 17, 18 & 19 - June, 7, 8 & 9. I do have some open dates in July, August and September.
